Experiments with 'mistakes' for a project looking at how mistakes create something new and unexpected. The unexpected reveals something interesting and exciting, the detail of the mistake is like a discovery. The pictures are crops taken from discovered mistakes, removing the subject detail, I like the abstract quality of the crops, showing unrealised colours and textures, exposing the detail of the mistake. These image re-create the discovery into a digital form when they may originate from screen printing or various forms of media.
